Services Provided

Epheos provides specialized consulting services through four dedicated departments:

Lingua Department

Professional language services including translation, localization, interpretation, and linguistic consulting.

Examples: Website localization, legal document translation, multilingual content creation, cultural adaptation services.

Edu Department

Educational consulting and academic support services including tutoring, curriculum development, and educational technology solutions.

Examples: Academic tutoring programs, e-learning platform development, curriculum design, student assessment systems.

Tech Department

Information technology consulting, software development, system integration, and digital transformation services.

Examples: Custom software development, cloud migration, cybersecurity consulting, API integration, mobile app development.

Business Department

Business strategy, marketing, branding, and operational consulting services.

Examples: Market research and analysis, brand strategy development, digital marketing campaigns, business process optimization.

Scope Changes: Service scope may be adjusted during a project based on evolving client needs. Any changes to the agreed scope will be documented and may result in additional fees. Scope changes require mutual agreement and will be reflected in updated project timelines and pricing.

Service Finalization: Detailed service descriptions, deliverables, timelines, and pricing are finalized during the consultation process and documented in a service agreement before work begins.

User Obligations

Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the consulting process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Compliance: You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.

Product Sales and Delivery

Product Availability: All products and services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or service at any time without notice. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Delivery Terms: Delivery dates provided are estimates only and we are not liable for delays in delivery. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

International Shipping: For international orders, you are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees. We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by customs clearance or international shipping regulations.

Returns and Refunds

Return Policy: Products may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided they are in their original condition and packaging. Digital products and services are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days after receipt and inspection of returned items. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Service Cancellations: Service subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Refunds for cancelled services are prorated based on unused service time. No refunds are provided for consumed services or digital content.

Digital Content and Downloads

License Grant: Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use digital content for personal or business purposes as specified in the product description. This license does not include the right to resell, redistribute, or create derivative works.

Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring your systems meet the minimum technical requirements for digital products. We are not responsible for compatibility issues with your equipment or software.

Updates and Support: Digital products may receive updates at our discretion. Support is provided as specified in the product documentation. We reserve the right to discontinue support for older versions.

Backup Responsibility: You are responsible for backing up all digital content. We are not liable for lost or corrupted data due to system failures, viruses, or other causes beyond our control.

Age Restrictions and Prohibited Uses

Age Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase products or services. For certain products (such as educational materials for minors), parental consent may be required.

Prohibited Activities: You may not use our products or services for any illegal purposes, to violate any laws or regulations, or to infringe on the rights of others. This includes but is not limited to fraud, harassment, or distribution of harmful content.

Content Restrictions: Products containing sensitive content (such as adult materials, political content, or religious materials) are intended for appropriate audiences only. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding such content.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate accounts and refuse service to users who violate these restrictions or engage in prohibited activities.

Data Collection for Commerce

Payment Information: We collect and process payment information necessary to complete transactions. This information is handled securely through our payment processors and is not stored on our servers.

Shipping Information: We collect shipping addresses and contact information to fulfill orders. This information is used only for delivery purposes and is protected in accordance with our privacy policy.

Purchase History: We maintain records of your purchases for order tracking, support, and legal compliance. This information helps us provide better service and resolve any issues with your orders.

Marketing Communications: With your consent, we may use purchase data to send you information about related products or services. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Fees and Payments

Flexible Pricing Approach: Epheos uses a flexible pricing model tailored to each client's specific needs. Our pricing is determined through a comprehensive consultation process that considers the scope, complexity, and timeline of your project.

Consultation Process: Before providing any quote, we conduct a detailed consultation to understand your requirements. This includes discussing project goals, technical specifications, timelines, and any special considerations that may affect pricing.

Pricing Factors: Several factors influence our pricing, including but not limited to:

  • Project scope and complexity
  • Timeline requirements and urgency
  • Level of expertise required
  • Resource allocation and team composition
  • Custom development or specialized tools needed
  • Integration requirements with existing systems

Personalized Quotes: Pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis through personalized consultation. We do not use fixed pricing models as each project has unique requirements that must be carefully evaluated.

Quote Timeline: Following initial consultation, we provide a detailed quote within 3-5 business days. This allows us sufficient time to properly assess your needs and prepare an accurate proposal.

Payment Terms: Payments are due upon receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed. We accept various payment methods as detailed during our consultation.

Refunds and Cancellations: You may cancel a project within 24 hours of confirmation at no cost. Cancellations made after 24 hours may incur fees based on the work completed up to that point. Our detailed refund policy can be discussed during the service agreement phase.

Intellectual Property

Ownership: All content, trademarks, and data on our website, including but not limited to software, databases, text, graphics, icons, hyperlinks, private information, designs, and agreements, are the property of or licensed to Epheos.

Use of Content: You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any of the content on our website without our express written permission.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information received in the course of using our services. This includes but is not limited to business plans, customer lists, financial information, and proprietary formulas.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epheos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use our services;
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein;
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services;
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party;
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through our services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately. We will refund you appropriately if termination occurs.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA). The arbitration shall be conducted in London, United Kingdom, and the language of the arbitration shall be English.

Before initiating arbitration, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiations. If arbitration is necessary, each party shall bear its own costs, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, lockouts, epidemics, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or failures in public utilities or transportation systems. The affected party shall promptly notify the other party of such circumstances and use reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of such events.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Epheos, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Warranty Disclaimer

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

Epheos does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected. You acknowledge that you use our services at your own risk.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Service-Specific Terms

Lingua Department Services

Project Milestones: Initial assessment, translation planning, content delivery, quality assurance, final review.

Deliverables: Translated documents, localization files, style guides, quality reports.

Client Collaboration: Provide source materials, reference documents, style preferences, and feedback within agreed timelines.

Intellectual Property: Client retains ownership of source content; Epheos grants license to use deliverables for intended purposes.

Edu Department Services

Project Milestones: Needs assessment, curriculum design, content development, testing phase, deployment.

Deliverables: Learning materials, assessment tools, training programs, implementation guides.

Client Collaboration: Provide learning objectives, target audience details, existing materials, and subject matter expertise.

Intellectual Property: Custom educational content ownership transfers to client upon full payment; Epheos retains rights to general methodologies.

Tech Department Services

Project Milestones: Requirements gathering, design phase, development sprints, testing, deployment.

Deliverables: Software applications, system integrations, documentation, source code, deployment packages.

Client Collaboration: Provide access to systems, technical specifications, testing environments, and timely feedback.

Intellectual Property: Client owns custom software; Epheos retains rights to reusable components and general architectures.

Business Department Services

Project Milestones: Strategy development, research phase, implementation planning, execution, evaluation.

Deliverables: Strategic plans, market research reports, marketing materials, business process documentation.

Client Collaboration: Provide business data, stakeholder access, strategic objectives, and decision-making authority.

Intellectual Property: Client owns custom strategies and materials; Epheos retains rights to general frameworks and methodologies.

Shopper Marketplace Services

Platform Access: Epheos provides marketplace access for sellers to list products and buyers to purchase items through our platform.

Seller Requirements: Sellers must contact Epheos for verification and listing approval. All products are manually verified for quality and authenticity.

Payment Processing: All transactions are processed through secure Stripe payment systems with competitive fees. Epheos acts as a marketplace facilitator.

Product Categories: Physical goods, digital products, boutique items, and specialty merchandise from verified sellers worldwide.

Platform Fees: Epheos charges low marketplace fees for successful transactions. Additional fees may apply for premium listings or special services.

App Store and Digital Distribution

App Availability: Mobile applications developed by Epheos (such as Stuffer, Fisher, etc.) are available through major app stores.

In-App Purchases: Some apps may offer in-app purchases for premium features, subscriptions, or digital content.

Subscription Services: Apps with subscription models provide ongoing access to premium features and content updates.

Device Compatibility: Apps are designed for iOS and Android platforms with regular updates for compatibility and security.

Data Privacy: App usage data is collected in accordance with privacy policies and used to improve services and user experience.
